Open Turning Tuesdays (OTT)
OTT is free and open to all members and guests. It is held each Tuesday from 5-8 pm at the Clubhouse. Some come to turn, some to teach, some to just get out of the house. It’s a lot of fun. What are you waiting for?!
As per WTSWMO policies, current WTSWMO and AAW memberships are required to turn.
ArtsFest
May 4-5, 2024
We plan to have a presence at ArtsFest in 2024. Please consider setting some time aside to man our booth. We will need with set-up, take-down, greeters, and turners. These are long days, but we will be breaking shifts down into discrete time blocks. You will have the opportunity to sign up for one or all time periods. Note: many volunteers turn some and greet some. This is a low-pressure, high-enjoyment event.

There is no judging during this event, and as a volunteer community-based organization representing our club, we are unable to sell during the event. You are allowed to distribute contact information.
We do ask that you bring a few turnings that you don’t mind others handling for display.
Ozarks Empire Fair
July 25-August 3, 2024
We plan to have a presence at the Ozarks Empire Fair in 2022. Please consider setting some time aside to man our booth. We will need with set-up, take-down, greeters, and turners. These are long days, but we will be breaking shifts down into discrete time blocks. You will have the opportunity to sign up for one or all time periods. Note: many volunteers turn some and greet some. This also is a low-pressure, high-enjoyment event.
There will opportunities to enter your turnings for judging. You may bring a few of your own works to display during your shift. Volunteering does not get you a fried Oreo or foot-long Weiner, but it does get you fair entry for that day and a parking pass.
